Montecito Mediterranean

This gorgeous Montecito property was in need of updating. There was a massive lawn that was suffering from lack of water and the entire property needed simplification. We began by removing the lawn and constructed a formal central courtyard of crushed stone. The addition of Italian cypress contributed to the formality and gave this garden the Mediterranean look we were going for. Drought tolerant plantings of Mediterranean favorites like lavender, sages, and rosemary surround the courtyard.
