Montecito Tea Garden
Nestled in the foothills of Montecito, this hidden gem is one of a kind. The central focus is this teak Tea House from Bali. It was placed beneath the majestic California Live Oaks that populate this property. We constructed a large pond and waterfall beneath the Tea House so that the sound of water would help to soothe any weary spirit who came to the Tea House for respite.
Flagstone patios were constructed at the back of the house to encourage dining al fresco beneath the stars on warm summer nights. There were a number of additions to this garden that took it out of the category of ordinary. Antique pillars and stone benches along with a garden swing make this a little paradise on earth.
There is a central courtyard constructed of Teak and was designed to be seen from the office and the living room. In this courtyard we constructed a fountain out of a couple of old stone bowls. This along with tropical plantings of tree ferns, schefflera and other colorful perennials create a magical peaceful garden filled with wonder and joy.
